Poppily is a little family-run business where each item is designed & made by ourselves in small batches here in Cheshire. Lovingly hand painted, shaped & finished from beautiful Maple boards, every flower is one-of-a-kind. Meet The Maker
"I love flowers but it always made me sad to watch fresh blooms fade in the house. I couldn't find an alternative to cut flowers that I really liked so during the strange, hazy days of maternity leave, I hatched a plan to create our own little wooden florist. It's taken a while (my baby is somehow now 3), and I have to say there's a lot more power tools and dust masks than in my original 'cute florist' vision! I'm super proud of what we've created though, and I really hope you find as much joy in them as I do. "

Our designer-maker Natalie brings to the table 15 years graphic design expertise, a love of bold floral prints and a significant stubborn streak. As the driving force behind our woman-led enterprise, Natalie has spent a good while firmly outside her comfort zone mastering various woodworking tools & techniques. Her mission is to create a lasting alternative to fresh flowers... happy and stylish keepsake blooms that bring a lasting burst of colour for 'a room always in bloom'.
Hand Crafted In Cheshire
Bold splashes of colour, carved details and the warm tone of natural waxed Maple are combined to create uniquely stylised flowers that perfectly accent modern homes. Whether your room is loud and proud or calm and understated, a sophisticated pop of colour in the right place can really elevate the space.
Intricate floral details are carved into the painted flower faces before being hand worked on a lathe to create a beautifully smooth domed back. Each individual flower is then finished with a mix of Beeswax and Carnauba wax and buffed to add protection, shine and accentuate the natural beauty of the Maple.
